Prepared especially for schools working towards establishing or maintaining outstanding SMSC, this pack contains 20 fully resourced, highly-rated, SMSC lesson packs. All 20x lesson packs are complete with at least one hour-long Powerpoint, accompanying differentiated worksheets, clip links with questions, starters, AFL tasks, clear LOs and plenaries. All are well-differentiated to three levels throughout to enable clear evidence of progress for all students. These lessons are all planned according to the latest Ofsted, PSHE Association and Citizenship Teachers’ Association guidelines and have been used individually in hundreds of schools throughout the UK, many of which have used them to help obtain the SMSC Award or Quality Mark. This pack sees all the SMSC-specific lessons made available together at a discount, as requested by Tes users. There is zero extra work required, but the lessons are all completely editable too. A 7 hour KS3 ‘Introduction to Citizenship’ Unit. The unit covers what exactly citizenship is, how our government system works in the UK, how the law affects young people, how we can be active citizens, human rights, different forms of government and immigration. This unit was originally used as the first unit the Year 7s would take in Citizenship, but has since been added to and improved. The original written unit plan is included and everything is entirely editable too. This includes 7 x 1 hour PowerPoints, dozens of worksheets and clips clips, well differentiated activities and engaging tasks. Useful for PSHCE / Citizenship or British Values. These resources have been designed to be engaging, detailed and easy to follow. All our resources are editable (so easy to adapt for your classes) and are designed to last one hour each. A 40 minute employability skills lesson which was created for LIKE2BE - an online networking platform which helps to raise student aspirations by connecting educators & students with employers and professionals for real world career guidance. This is the ninth of 12 sessions which will cover all aspects of employability skills, as well as serve as a step-by-step guide for schools and students that are signed up to the LikeToBe website. This ninth session is all about the importance of literacy and numeracy skills, how we can acquire them and how we can demonstrate our proficiency in these to employers. All of these resources are three way differentiated, engaging and challenging. They are best suited to KS4 or KS5 students and each lasts 40 minutes.
