This lesson covers both Gatsby Guidelines and the PSHE Association’s objectives for Living in the Wider World KS3. Everything is editable. engaging and easy to follow. Students will discover their own personal skills, strengths, interests, qualities and values by assessing examples, completing progress templates, creative and fun tasks, video clip tasks, partnered activities and much more. They will then investigate the employability skills their potential future employers are looking for in the modern world, and see just how much their personal attributes have already started to apply. They will also set realistic but ambitious goals about those they wish to develop and begin thinking about how their interests and values could also help them decide upon a career path. Money and Coins - EYFS PSHE lesson. A detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for EYFS/Reception age children. This lesson has been designed for use with children in Reception, however, the PowerPoint and activities could be adapted for use with other age groups. In this lesson, the children will learn about money, specifically, how we pay for things we want and need. The children will be introduced to a small selection of coins (1p, 2p, 5p and 10p) and will carry out a set of activities to develop skills in coin recognition and finding the total value. The lesson includes a sing-along starter (to ensure a swift start to the lesson), a video-based story with associated number problems, an adult-led focus task, independent activities to be carried out during continuous provision, and a plenary task. Created to fit the new DfE and PSHE Association statutory 2020 /21 guidelines, the lesson includes a detailed PowerPoint, all editable with accompanying tasks and worksheets. The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging activities. It is designed to be ‘no prep’, so you can just pick it up and use it, although it is still adaptable should you wish to.
