Boys’ Puberty - What Changes Can We Expect?
A brand new one-two hour lesson suitable for upper KS2 / KS3 (Year 7), all about puberty and the changes boys typically go through. Taken from the EC Publishing Complete Primary Package for 2024 (find it on the EC Publishing website).
The pack introduces the physical and emotional changes that boys usually encounter, although it emphasises the fact that what’s normal for one person can be different to the next.

Condom use contraception lesson - New 2024 PSHE lesson all about why condoms are such great contraceptives for both preventing pregnancies and STIs, as well as how to correctly put on a condom and use it successfully.
Students will explore the history of the humble condom, why they are so popular, how they have helped people globally, where they can pick them up for free and what to watch out for, such as tears and expiry dates. There are tasks for students to correctly order the steps of putting on a condom, literacy tasks, clip tasks, analysis and creative tasks - but also this lesson can be used as a frame for teachers to use models and real condoms (if they choose) to show their students. 2 HOURS - New 2024 PSHE lesson all about Britain’s homelessness problem. Students will investigate the main causes of homelessness in the UK, hear the issues from people in their own words and discover some unusual solutions to the issue. They will also explore why the numbers of homeless people are increasing in recent years, the hurdles people face to in trying find accommodation and how many find themselves homeless to begin with.
Students will complete source analysis tasks, literacy and debate tasks, creative tasks, clip tasks and much more. Created for KS4 but nothing unsuitable for KS3.
This lesson is taken from the new EC Publishing Complete PSHE Package which can be found at the EC Publishing website. Everything is editable and easy to pick up and run with and includes future DfE updates too.
