A simple lesson asking children to debate whether Richard of York or Henry of Lancaster should be king after the War of the Roses. The lesson gives some brief information about each person, and then some further information about their motives so children can decide who they think would be a more suitable king. Can be enhanced to meet national curriculum requirements by adding sources or being more explicit about LOs and SC.
