I agree with lewis, however....thank you for the work you have done. I will keep the dual prepositions in mind and explain.

This sheet is exactly what I needed - simple practice for my less able Year 10s and my Year 13s who just need to quickly drill this into their minds! 90% of the time we're using these prepositions in sentences with no movement anyway!

I disagree with the previous review - of course accuracy is important but I only learned the difference between prepositions of fixed location and of movement at university in Germany on my year abroad. I think this worksheet is excellent to explain the CONCEPT of the dative case to GCSE students - we do not want to overwhelm them after all at this stage in their learning!! Many thanks.

This worksheet is misleadingfor students as a couple of the prepositions mentioned on it do not always take the dative case - some (eg neben, an) are mixed case prepositions, and other dative prepositions (eg nach) have been missed off. I would avoid using it for this reason. If we post resources for others to use I believe we should ensure they are accurate.
