Four lessons entitled ‘Hunter v Hunted,’ where students are tasked with writing a dual-narrative poem.

The lessons include:

  • Lesson 1: Planning a dual-narrative, with examples from Jaws and The Island of Dr Moreau for inspiration, and question prompts to aid planning.

  • Lesson 2: Drafting lines and crafting the planned idea into the frameworks of a poem.

  • Lesson 3: Writing up the poem, in full, collating the planning of the week.

  • Lesson 4: Performing the poems, to the class.
